For twenty years, Honorable Mark A. Frankel (Ret.) served in Dane County, Wisconsin, as a Circuit Court judge (1979-1999). As a judge, he was an associate dean and faculty member of the Wisconsin Judicial College and taught advanced evidence at the National Judicial College. Judge Frankel served as Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Madison Gas & Electric Co. before joining LaFollette Godfrey & Kahn as a partner. Named among The Best Lawyers in America (2005-2006 edition), Judge Frankel has served as editor and author of the Judicial Benchbook and edited the Wisconsin Criminal Defense Manual. He has been a frequent lecturer at judicial and legal education programs.
